Last updated: April 2026

1. Who I am

Sassy CEO Studio is a Pinterest management and strategy service operated by Gill, based in the United Kingdom.

For any privacy-related enquiries, please contact: hello@sassyceostudio.com

This policy applies to the website sassyceostudio.com and all services offered through it. It complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What data I collect

Enquiry and contact forms

When you complete the contact form on this website, I collect your name, email address, business name and any details you provide in your message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

Freebie sign-up form

When you request the free resource, I collect your name and email address in order to deliver the resource and, with your consent, send occasional relevant content. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Keyword Research waitlist

When you join the waitlist for the Pinterest Keyword Research service, I collect your first name and email address to notify you when the service launches. I will not use this for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

Service purchases

When you purchase a service, payment is processed securely by Stripe. I do not store or have access to your payment card details. Stripe may collect billing information in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. I receive confirmation of your purchase and your contact details in order to deliver the service.

3. How I use your data

  • To provide the service you have purchased, including all deliverables and communications related to it
  • To respond to enquiries
  • To notify waitlist members when a new service becomes available
  • To send the free resource you have requested
  • To send occasional relevant updates and content (where you have consented)
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To improve the performance and content of this website

I do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, I rely on the following lawful bases for processing your personal data:

  • Contract: processing necessary to deliver a service you have purchased or requested
  • Legitimate interests: responding to enquiries and operating this website
  • Consent: where you have opted in to receive marketing communications or a free resource
  • Legal obligation: where I am required to retain records by law (e.g. for sales and purchase records)

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

This website uses tracking technologies to help understand how visitors engage with this website and measure the reach of my social media content. These technologies collect data in a hashed (anonymised) format where possible.

Pinterest Tag

I use the Pinterest Tag, provided by Pinterest Inc. This tag records page views and actions taken on this website and sends anonymised data to Pinterest. This allows me to understand how visitors engage with this website and measure the reach of my social media content. Pinterest may use this data in accordance with their Privacy Policy. Automatic Enhanced Match is enabled, which means Pinterest may match hashed visitor information to Pinterest user accounts to improve measurement accuracy. In plain terms: if someone visits this website and is also logged into Pinterest, Pinterest may be able to connect those two things together (in an anonymised way) to give a more accurate picture of how many people are engaging with any future Pinterest marketing.

Meta Pixel

I use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Inc. (Facebook). This tag records page views and actions taken on this website and sends anonymised data to Meta. This allows me to understand how visitors engage with this website and measure the reach of my social media content across Facebook and Instagram. Meta may use this data in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

Netlify Analytics

This website is hosted by Netlify. Netlify may collect server-level analytics data (such as page views and traffic sources) as part of their hosting service. This data does not identify individual users. See Netlify's Privacy Policy for details.

You can opt out of interest-based advertising from Pinterest at pinterest.co.uk/settings/privacy and from Meta at facebook.com/ads/preferences. You can also manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

6. Third-party services

I use the following third-party services to operate this website and deliver my services. Each has their own privacy policy governing their use of your data:

7. How long I keep your data

  • Enquiry form submissions: retained for up to 2 years, or until you request deletion
  • Client records (purchased services): retained for 6 years in accordance with UK tax and accounting obligations
  • Waitlist and freebie sign-ups: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
  • Tracking data (Pinterest, Meta): governed by the respective platform's data retention policies

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: you can request a copy of the data I hold about you
  • Right to rectification: you can ask me to correct inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure: you can ask me to delete your data where there is no lawful reason to retain it
  • Right to restrict processing: you can ask me to limit how I use your data
  • Right to data portability: you can ask for your data in a portable format
  • Right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing
  • Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time

To exercise any of these rights, please contact hello@sassyceostudio.com. I will respond within one calendar month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

9. Data security

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. This website is served over HTTPS and form data is processed by Netlify, which employs industry-standard security practices.

While I take data security seriously, no method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure. If you have concerns about a specific data interaction, please get in touch.

10. International transfers

Some of the third-party service providers (including Pinterest, Meta, Stripe and Netlify) are based in or may process data in the United States and other countries outside the UK. Where this occurs, these providers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK-US Data Bridge or Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data is protected to UK GDPR standards.

11. Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in my practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. I'd encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of this website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
